چکیده

Hyperaccumulation of heavy metals is substantial in some hyperaccumulators; however, few studies have been conducted to reveal the effect light irradiation on variations representative amino acids and photosynthetic indices, which can represent antioxidant capacity plants during phytoremediation. The physiochemical responses Arabidopsis thaliana Cd stress were compared six treatments. results experiment showed that adaptation A. was enhanced all treatments, except for monochromatic blue-light irradiation. concentrations glutamic acid glutamine decreased significantly pure blue with other decrease these two might be induced by an intensive biosynthesis defensive factors, as manifested declined indices. Concentrations aspartic asparagine involved ammonification, absorption, transportation nitrogen vascular increased red combined treatments control, corresponding improved species. concentration proline, environmental stresses including metal toxicity excessive energy, generally increasing ratio light. This study proposes key roles indices light-motivated pollution thaliana.

The impacts of TRR14 over-expression on Arabidopsis thaliana growth and some photosynthetic parameters

Background: TRR14 protein is a small member of a multi-gene family in Arabidopsis and is the first ones found during screening of seedlings for their resistant to the trehalose sugar. Objectives: Characterization ofTRR14 over-expressed plants with respect to morphological changes, growth and photosynthesis related parameters.Materials and methods: TRR14gene was isolated from Arabidop...

Branched-Chain Amino Acid Metabolism in Arabidopsis thaliana.

Valine, leucine and isoleucine form the small group of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) classified by their small branched hydrocarbon residues. Unlike animals, plants are able to de novo synthesize these amino acids from pyruvate, 2-oxobutanoate and acetyl-CoA. In plants, biosynthesis follows the typical reaction pathways established for the formation of these amino acids in microorganisms. ...

Differential Expression of Arabidopsis thaliana Acid Phosphatases in Response to Abiotic Stresses

The objective of this research is to identify Arabidopsis thaliana genes encoding acid phosphatases induced by phosphate starvation. Multiple alignments of eukaryotic acid phosphatase amino acid sequences led to the classification of these proteins into four groups including purple acid phosphatases (PAPs). Specific primers were degenerated and designed based on conserved sequences of PAPs isol...

Effects of Varying Nitrogen Sources on Amino Acid Synthesis Costs in Arabidopsis thaliana under Different Light and Carbon-Source Conditions

Plants as sessile organisms cannot escape their environment and have to adapt to any changes in the availability of sunlight and nutrients. The quantification of synthesis costs of metabolites, in terms of consumed energy, is a prerequisite to understand trade-offs arising from energetic limitations. Here, we examine the energy consumption of amino acid synthesis in Arabidopsis thaliana. To qua...

Molecular Characterisation of two Putative Photosynthetic Proteins in Arabidopsis thaliana

Photosynthesis is the biological process, by which photosynthetic organisms convert light energy and carbon dioxide into organic compounds. In plants, photosynthesis takes place in the chloroplast, and this organelle evolved from the ancestor of cyanobacteria by endosymbiosis. The chloroplast proteome contains thousands of proteins, of which most are encoded by the nuclear genome. Transcriptome...
